School Field Trips
Hosting field trips for classrooms, students can interact with the giant tortoises and learn about our husbandry, research and other endangered turtles and tortoises here at Rancho Tortuga.
Scheduled Visits
Schedule a complete tour and learning experience for 2 - 10 people. Explore our facility with personal guide. Meet our Giant Tortoises and hand feed them. See our other species of endangered turtles and tortoises. Learn about the projects and research we are doing.
Fund Raisers
A complete event and auction to help raise funds for our upcoming projects and to support the ongoing efforts to maintain a viable assurance colony of these Gentle Giants in the Central Valley. Husbandry research, Genetic Testing, Temperature Dependent Sex Determination Studies, Population Management for Genetically Pure Species development, Growth Rate Studies, Educational Facilities for Learning.
